Gaming at the Library

I haven't talked at all this summer about the gaming that's going on - and that's a shame.

We've been having a blast with the Supersmash Brothers Melee tournament on Thursday nights - there are two more sessions - one regular session with a weekly winner, and then the final Grand Championship Game on July 31st.

If you'd like to compete in the Grand Championship, you have to either be a weekly winner, or win the last open spot in the competition on the night of the 31st.

The Grand Champion prize is a mini remote control helicopter (and also a secret, yet-to-be announced added prize).

I hope to see lots of new competitors in the final two weeks...

We also have DDR set up on the PS2 and projector, and a Wii with either Wii Sports, SS Brawl, or Raving Rabbids - so if you don't like to compete, but just want to play, come on in.

Next Saturday is our final week of Open Game Play ... come in, play any of the games for two hours (2-4 pm). We have a small but very fun group on Saturdays, so come join us! You can even watch me play Mario Kart and crash, lots...
