Book Review

I just finished reading Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott. Wow! What a powerful story. Alice was kidnapped when she was ten, and has endured years of abuse. Now 15, her kidnapper has decided that, instead of killing her and then replacing her, he wants her to "find" him a "new Alice".

With short, powerful chapters, and blunt, but non-descriptive passages revealing her abuse, this story is a quick but devastating read. You will find yourself caught up in Alice's despair, her inability to escape, and her eventual decisions. You'll follow her every move, and wish you could just offer her one word of comfort, or warning, or help.

Don't miss this book. Read it. Reread it, share it, and talk about it.
