Well, the Anime club meeting last night was fantastic! We had 13 very happy people at the first meeting (11 girls and 2 guys!).
We voted for a name for the club, and chose PikaPals of Waco. A logo will be forthcoming in the next month. Several of our members said they would love to try to draw something, and Matthew promptly wrote out our name in Kirigana and Katakana for us, so once I get that ready to use, we should be able to post it and use it in our advertisements.
Our next meeting is scheduled to be on April 26, the fourth Tuesday, at 7:00. We will meet in the Storytime room instead of the meeting room, as it is a bit bigger and may not be as noisy.
We have also started a Facebook page, under the name wako no pika natame.
